Caught the 11.25 from downtown Albuquerque to downtown Bernalillo and back, just in time for lunch.
The RailRunner has snazzy cars with minimalist stations and young, helpful employees. It runs from Belen in the south to Sandoval County at Hwy 550 in the north and is supposed to arrive in Santa Fe by December of this year.
Our grandson Diego managed to guide his aging grandparents on and off the train.
In contrast to a year ago or so when there were only two trains a day, there now are some 3 or 4 in the morning and the same number in the evening and the mid-day run that we were on.
