I hope my atheistic, agnostic and evangelical friends won't object too much as I stretch out the celebration of the Incarnation. Now that I think about it there are not that many in any of those categories. A website written by a Catholic Bibliophagist: The Twelve Days of Christmas is a natural to dip into at this time of the year, or at any time for that matter. And from there to other places on the Web. The bibliophagist mentions a number of children's books for adult and young readers.
St Columba is a famous Celtic saint, highlighting "the importance of the Celtic church in bringing a revival of Christianity to Western Europe after the fall of the Roman Empire." I'm not sure the Celts are up to doing another revival, though it is sorely needed.
This is a small experiment in the blogosphere. "If you have no interest in what it's like to grow old, what follows is not for you. However, if it's going to happen to you, and the outcome is ultimately going to be negative, then finding a way to make the process as bearable, even as enjoyable as possible, might be worth a little attention."—from John Jerome's On Turning Sixty-Five
