This is a small experiment in the blogosphere. "If you have no interest in what it's like to grow old, what follows is not for you. However, if it's going to happen to you, and the outcome is ultimately going to be negative, then finding a way to make the process as bearable, even as enjoyable as possible, might be worth a little attention."—from John Jerome's On Turning Sixty-Five

Santa Barbara, Gem of the West Coast
City Hall Santa Barbara (see below): Very nice. Good views too from the tower. See above.
Lots of beautiful jacaranda trees in Santa Barbara. Attention must be paid to the color purple.
Sunday was Art on the Beach Day. Much nice stuff.
This sign was seen on the McDonald's Restaurant on State Street in downtown Santa Barbara. It was very discreet, meansuring about 2x2 ft. Everything looks very prosperous and the people are very proud of their city.
Lots of good weather, good food, interesting lectures on GI Pathology, and nice people too. I suppose one could say attending one of these GI Path exercises was like looking up your old friends. Heh, heh.
