This is a small experiment in the blogosphere. "If you have no interest in what it's like to grow old, what follows is not for you. However, if it's going to happen to you, and the outcome is ultimately going to be negative, then finding a way to make the process as bearable, even as enjoyable as possible, might be worth a little attention."—from John Jerome's On Turning Sixty-Five

This Is For Those Who Are Fatigued By the Politics of Today
I hate to use the word "politics" in that negative way but that is the way we now use it. In a happier time, say when my father was a politician, "politics" did not have a negative connotation. It was just the way we ordinary folks got things done in a public way. The art of the possible was another way of saying that.
By the way, Mother Goose and Grimm is one of those cartoons relegated to the back pages of the advertising pages. I'm not sure why. It is probably one of the funniest cartoons around.
